Yangao Hu, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor  
 
I received my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering at City University of Hong Kong in 2010. My research interests include multi-scale analysis of engineering materials, high performance concrete, novel composite structural materials, etc. So far, the total citation of my papers has exceeded 900 times, with h-index being 11, and the highest citation of a single paper exceeding 400 times (selected as ESI Highly Cited Paper).

Nano-mechanics, Mechanics of composites, Multi-scale modeling and simulation, Computational mechancis.

Research Projects
I have undertaken projects sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the Chongqing Science and Technology Plan Basic and Frontier Research Program, the Chongqing Natural Science Foundation, and have been the primary researcher of a project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
