Yu-Hang Wang, born in Chongqing in 1985, professor and vice dean of school of civil engineering of Chongqing University, secretary-general of Sub-association for Wind Power Structures and deputy secretary-general of Sub-association for steel-concrete composite structure, China Steel Structure Society, chief expert of Chongqing Young Experts Studio, editor of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Supported by Fok Ying Tung Education Foundation and the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.
Professor Yu-Hang Wang was born in Chongqing, November 1985. He graduated from Tsinghua University in 2008 as an outstanding graduate of china civil engineering society, and was recommended for admission to Tsinghua University directly pursue his doctoral degree supervised by Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering Jian-Guo Nie. He got Ph.D. in 2013, and won the honors as an outstanding doctoral graduate, an outstanding doctoral dissertation and an ""academic rookie"" of Tsinghua University. From 2014 to 2018, he finished the postdoctoral research at Chongqing University supervised by Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering Xu-Hong Zhou.
Professor Yu-Hang Wang mainly engaged in the research of steel structure, steel-concrete composite structure/hybrid structure, presided over 15 national, provincial and ministerial-level longitudinal scientific research projects and more than 20 engineering consulting projects, innovatively researched and developed the new tower tube structure and foundation structure of wind turbines, and the assembled steel plate shear wall structure of high-rise buildings, and established the analysis theory and design method of steel structure and composite structure components under various complex loads. He has published more than 170 academic papers, which have been cited by peers at home and abroad for more than 800 times, with the highest single paper cited by him reaching more than 600 times. One paper was selected as the outstanding scientific papers of the 4th China Association for Science and Technology, and two papers were selected as the ""Top Academic Papers of China's Excellent Scientific Journals"" by the Ministry of Science and Technology. There are 14 authorized patents for inventions, 40 patents for utility models and 3 national software copyrights. Participate in the national standard ""Technical Specification for Composite Structures"", the industry standard ""Technical Specification for Steel Tube Confined Concrete Structures"" and the local standard ""Technical Standard for Assembled Concrete Underground utility tunnel"". Compilation of 4 monographs and textbooks. Invited to give a special lecture for more than 20 times. The research results have been applied to more than 50 onshore wind farm projects, offshore wind farm projects, construction projects and utility tunnel projects at home and abroad, and won the Innovative Talent Award of China Steel Structure Association, Outstanding Young Energy Science and Technology Workers of China Energy Research Association, Special Prize of Science and Technology Award of China Steel Structure Association (ranked 7), First Prize of Science and Technology Award of China Highway Society (ranked 5), First Prize of Dayu Water Conservancy Science and Technology Award of Ministry of Water Resources (ranked 10), First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Chongqing City (ranked 1st), and First-class prize of Science and Technology Inovative Award of China Society for the promotion of Science and Technology Commercialization (ranked 1st).
