At 9:00 am, 12, Mar. 2018, Prof. Thomas R. Huston, representative of the University of Cincinnati(UC) met with representatives of SCE, Vice-Dean Chuan ZANG, Director of International Exchange Office Bo YANG, Secretary for Foreign Affairs Xiaoxue MA. Prof. Huston and Vice-Dean ZHANG discussed the details of adding the discipline Civil Engineering into the CQU-UC Joint Co-op Institute, Vice-Dean ZHANG also extended warm welcome to having UC professors visiting and teaching or conducting lectures to SCE.

        At 10:30 am, Paul Fanning, Deputy-president for Global Engagement of University College Dublin(UCD), and Miss.Yawen Ren, the China Recruitment Assistant of UCD China Global Centre visited CQU. CQU representatives, Vice-President Hanglong LIU, Director of International Cooperation and Exchanges office Jun XU and Vice-Dean ZHANG attended the meeting. After discussing the cooperation between UCD and CQU, Vice-Dean ZHANG and Associate Professor Fanning also conducted substantive discussions on multi-layered and multi-channel cooperation between the two schools.

        Under “Double First-Class” construction, the internationalization development of SCE is laying a solid foundation and forging ahead.
