On March 1, 2023, Li Wanrun, associate chair of School of Civil Engineering of Lanzhou University of Technology, led a team to visit SCE and conduct academic exchanges. Team members includes Professor Liu Ping, Professor Wang Yajun and Associate Professor Wu Chang. Secretary of CPC SCE Committee Hua Jianmin, associate chair Xie Qiang, Director of Department of Engineering Construction Kang Ming and Director of Institute of Engineering Construction Yang Yang of SCE, CQU participated in the research and exchange activities. The main content of this research is the construction of intelligent construction profession in Chongqing University, including personnel training, faculty, discipline development and scientific research exchanges.

During the investigation meeting, Hua Jianmin introduced the general situation of SCE, and Kang Ming introduced in detail the construction of intelligent construction major and the training of graduate students. Both parties had an in-depth exchange on the training program for undergraduate students of intelligent construction, internationalization of education, and the introduction of faculty recruitment. After that, they also visited the structural laboratory, shaking table laboratory and virtual imitation center of SCE.

The investigation meeting was successfully carried out, and the two sides reached a number of consensus, laying a good foundation for future in-depth cooperation in academic exchanges, talent training and the transformation of results.
