At the invitation of Prof. Wengang Zhang, Dr Zhu Xing, associate professor of Chengdu University of Technology, made a wonderful online report for teachers and students from SCE, on 13 May, 2022. The theme of the report is "Policy Interpretation and Preparation Exchange of the 8th 'Internet +' College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition", with more than 70 staff and students from the SCE participated it.

Zhu firstly introduced the relevant rules and policy background of the competition, and then gave an in-detail introduction of the main information, including the main tasks, time arrangement, the content of the competition, changes in the competition rules and entry requirements, etc. Then, he discussed the concept and approach of "integration of science and technology, cultivate people by innovation and competition" through the exchange of his own experience in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Finally, Dr. Zhu introduced in detail the common problems, pain points, technological breakthroughs, and key products of the industry and the overall solutions through the project: Haomaishanchuan -- the leader of landslide intelligent early warning and monitoring equipment.

Dr. Zhu Xing, associate professor of Chengdu University of Technology, working in State Key Laboratory of Geological Disaster Prevention and Geological Environmental Protection, a high-level innovative talent of the Ministry of Natural Resources, is committed to the interdisciplinary research of geotechnical engineering and IT sensing. He won 1 second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award and 1 first prize of China Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology Progress Award. In addition, as an instructor, he had guided students to participate in the "Internet +" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for many times, and won 1 national silver award, 1 bronze award, 2 Sichuan gold awards and 2 silver awards.
