Research highlights: 10 ESI Highly Cited and 2 ESI Hot Papers from Prof Zhang Wengang’s group

Based on the updated data from Clarivate Analytics ESI (Essential Science Indicators), 10 papers published by Prof. Wengang Zhang of School of Civil Engineering (SCE) as the first author or corresponding author were selected as ESI Highly Cited papers. Among them, 2 papers were selected as ESI Hot Papers at the same time, with the total number of citations reached 3644 times.

ESI (Essential Science Indicators) is the basic analysis and evaluation tool for the international academic community to measure scientific research performance and track scientific development trends. Sort by citations in descending order, highly cited papers refer to the top 1% of all papers published in the same ESI subject area in the same year. Similarly, hot papers are those top 0.1% papers published in the last two years, ranked by the number of citations in the last two months. These two indicators reflect the influence of the paper from the perspective of literature citation.

Selection of papers from Prof. Zhang’s group as ESI Highly Cited Papers and ESI Hot Papers is the recognition of his scientific research achievements by the academia, as well as an affirmation of the scientific research of SCE.

The information of ESI highly Cited Papers and Hot Papers are as follows:
