The expert consultation meeting of the major strategic consulting project of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, "Industrial Technology Breakthroughs and Development Paths for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control", was held in Conference Room 5402 of the Chongqing Research Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Development Strategy of China on April 25, 2022. The meeting was conducted online and offline synchronously, chaired by Li Hua, Deputy Director of Chongqing Research Institute of China Engineering Science and Technology Development Strategy.

Liu Hanlong, executive vice president of Chongqing University, Wang Fawu, professor of Tongji University and foreign academician of the Japanese Academy of Engineering, Lu Dechun, professor of Beijing University of Technology, Zhang Qin, professor of Chang'an University, Wang Hailu, engineer of National Defense Engineering Research Institute, Academy of Military Sciences, Jing Pengxu, senior engineer of National Earthquake Response support Center , Professor Huang Bolin of China Three Gorges University and other experts attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Li Hua introduced the leaders and experts who attended the meeting. Afterwards, Executive Vice President Liu Hanlong extended his welcome to all the experts present at the meeting. Prof. Wengang Zhang introduced the progress of the topic "Industrial Technology Breakthrough and Development Path of Natural Disaster Prevention and Control" from the following six aspects: research tasks, research contents, research plans and outlines, special research outlines and work plans. The expert group carried out consultation and discussion on the organization and promotion of the research group, and fully affirmed the work results of the research group.
