On March 2, 2022, the consultation and exchange meeting on the final result of the Chongqing Technology Innovation and Application Development Special Key Project "Research and Application of Building Design and Construction Technology Based on Prefabricated Steel-Concrete Composite Structures" was successfully held at the No.1 Conference Room of the School of Civil Engineering (SCE), Chongqing University. Five project team members including Zhao Xuan, Vice President of the Institute of Industrial Architecture of CISDI, more than 20 staff of SCE, including Professor Yang Bo, Professor Zhang Wengang and Professor Wang Yuhang, as consultants, and other project-related personnel, had attended the meeting.
Firstly, Professor Hu Shaowei, the host of the meeting, introduced the basic situation and research and development context of the project from three parts of building design and construction technology based on prefabricated steel-concrete composite structure: the background introduction, existing problems and research significance, project plan research content. Then, the project team members of Chongqing University introduced the achievements so far: a new steel-concrete composite frame system has been independently developed, including the new splicing materials, new assembled columns, new assembled beam-column joints and other technological innovation achievements developed by the team. The results have been sorted and published as more than 30 papers, patents and local standards, etc., exceeding the project assessment indicators. After then, Hu Shaowei, Zhao Xuan, Yang Bo and other members of the project had in-depth exchanges on the productization, promotion and application, implementation and demonstration of the project results, and further clarified the improvement plan for the follow-up conclusion and report work.
The successful conclusion of the project will not only contribute to the development of prefabricated buildings in Chongqing, but also have great significance in improving the application scope and influence of prefabricated buildings.
