International Top-level Forum on Engineering Science and Technology Development Strategy, centered on High Performance Building Structure and Materials, Sustainability and Resilience of Civil Engineering Infrastructures (HPBSM & SRCEI) was successfully held from October 20 to 21, 2018 in Chongqing, China.

There are two themes of the Forum: High Performance Building Structure and Materials, as well as Sustainability and Resilience of Civil Engineering Infrastructures. 37 excellent keynote speeches about the two themes were delivered within the two-day forum, such as Disaster prevention and mitigation of high performance structure system, Analysis theories and methods of complex structures, Health monitoring of large-scale engineering structure, High performance fiber reinforced polymer, High performance and multi-functional cement based composite material, High performance steel of building structure.
The forum brought together leading researchers, engineers and scientists in this field of interest around the world. At the closing ceremony, Academician Xuhong ZHOU praised this forum to be a high-level influential international conference in the field of Civil Engineering, and would play a vital role in the development of International Civil Engineering.
The International Top-level Forum on Engineering Science and Technology Development Strategy is a series of international academic activities with high-degree internationalization, great international impact, and strong perspectiveness. 26 academicians from all over the world, around 30 overseas experts, and over 300 Chinese experts attended this forum.
