On June 2, 2023, the closing ceremony and project summary of the 2023 International Summer Camp of the School of Civil Engineering of Chongqing University were officially held in Conference Room 301 of the Construction Engineering Hall. Vice Dean of the School of Civil Engineering, Wengang Zhang, leading teachers Ting Bao, Jinquan Shi, and Yutong Li, and all summer camp students attended the meeting.

At the closing ceremony, the participating students made reports in turn. Ting Bao and Yutong Li issued certifications for international summer camps to participating international students and volunteers, and Zhang Wengang made a concluding speech.

During the summer camp, 8 Chinese and foreign experts were invited to make academic presentations, including Yongbin Yang, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Yukio Tamura, foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Billie F. Spencer, foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor Julio Florez-Lopez; Professor Changbing Tan, Professor Ting Bao, Associate Professor Yutong Li, and Hong Shen Lecturer Liu Huan.

Nine days were spent at the SCE's 2023 International Summer Camp, which featured seven academic reports, two cultural lessons on Chinese traditional painting and Kongfu, and six field trips to the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding & Research Base, Dazu Rock Carvings, the Yangtze River, the Jialing River, and labs. Through a variety of methods, we assist overseas students from different nations in getting over cultural barriers, overcoming linguistic barriers, and fully comprehending cutting-edge civil engineering subjects. It gave participating students a fresh perspective on Chinese culture and offered a fresh direction for their future professional growth and career planning.
