Recently, the results of China's 2023 National Natural Science Foundation were released. SCE has received financing for a total of 28 programs, including 1 funding approved by the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, 1 international cooperation funding, 17 general fundings, and 9 fundings approved by the National Science Fund for National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. There was 13.31 million yuan in direct funding. The SCE's approval rate is at an all-time high, and it tops all other secondary departments at Chongqing University. The SCE has placed a high priority on grant application work in recent years. It began with a variety of components, including application mobilization and expert guidance, guide analysis and policy interpretation, potential exploration and indicator issuance, formal examination and defense preview, communication exchange and follow-up services, etc., and it has successfully mobilized qualified teachers across the SCE to participate in the application, aiming to increase the quantity and quality of program applications while also forming a beneficial scientific community. It has created a strong framework for work on fund applications.
