From July 14 to 19, 2024, Peizhi Chen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Civil Engineering of Chongqing University, and her group were invited to visit Kyoto University and Nagasaki University in Japan for communication at work.

At the symposium, Professor Tomomi Yagi of Kyoto University warmly welcomed the group. Peizhi Chen introduced the school's development history, scientific research platforms, and policies on talent recruitment. Both sides reach a consensus to jointly explore further cooperation opportunities. At Nagasaki University, Academician Yujing Jiang engaged in in-depth and friendly discussions with school representatives, where they addressed matters related to promoting scientific research collaboration and personnel training.
