On December 29, 2020, the academic annual conference of Chongqing Association of Refrigeration was successfully held in Days Hotel Chongqing Keyuan. The conference was hosted by Chongqing Association of Refrigeration, and organized by the School of Civil Engineering (SCE), CQU. More than 200 representatives from universities, research institutes and enterprises attended the meeting.

The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Xie Ling, secretary of the Party branch of Chongqing Association of Refrigeration, also researcher from the Clean Energy Institute, SCE, CQU.

Professor Lu Jun, chairman of Chongqing Association of Refrigeration, delivered the welcome speech. He reviewed and summarized the grand occasion of the 2020 China Refrigeration Exhibition in Chongqing. Although the pandemic has broughthuge impact on the global economy and industries, the Chongqing Association of Refrigeration will continue to undertake the important task of technological innovation and service to society, and contribute to the realization of the people's longing for a better life.

Duan Yong, Director of the Academic Department of the Chongqing Association for Science and Technology, delivered the opening speech on behalf of the Chongqing Association for Science and Technology. He fully affirmed that the Chongqing Institute of Refrigeration has carried out various activities in serving researchers and technicians, improving the scientific quality of people, building academic exchange platforms, and carrying out scientific popularization activities. He hoped that the Society would further improve its capabilities and build the Society into a community of shared future and academic community for scientific and technological workers in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry, and a modern science and technology society full of vigor and vitality.

Mr. Ye Qiang from the Design and Green Building Department of Chongqing Housing and Urban-Rural Development Committee gave a report on "Building Energy Efficiency and Green Building Technology Policy", explained the management of new green buildings to the experts at the meeting, and made further progress on the relationship between building energy efficiency and green buildings Elaboration, according to the existing green building standards, highlights the implementation requirements of the current green building standards in the main urban area of Chongqing, and proposes the future development goals of green buildings.

He analyzed and explained in detail the main problems in design of "Building Smoke Control and Smoke Extraction System Design Standard", combined with engineering design examples, clearly defined whether the underground smoke-proof staircase can adopt natural ventilation, and provided clear technical guidance to the designers and project managers present.

Additionally, "Magnetic levitation central air-conditioning products and applications", "R&D and industrialization of key technologies for gas heat pumps", "Supercooled water fluidized ice slurry technology and its application in cold storage air conditioning and heat pumps", "Ventilation solutions for public places" Technical reports such as "Program", "New Technology of Air-Conditioning Heat Exchanger Bubbling and New Technology of Plate Replacement and Maintenance Free", "Solution of High-efficiency Refrigeration Computer Room System" attracted well responses from the attendees. The discussion during the confernce was enlightening and insightful, and the experts conducted in-depth exchanges on various techniques and implementation details.
