Personal profile
Ph.D., Professor. He is a National High-Level Young Talent, a recipient of the Young Elite Scientist Sponsorship Program by the China Association for Science and Technology, the Chongqing Talent Program, and a Specially Appointed Expert of the Chongqing "Hundred Talents Program."
He currently serves as the Director of the Wind Tunnel Laboratory at Chongqing University, Deputy Director of the Department of Structural Engineering, and Deputy Director of the Chongqing Key Laboratory of Wind Engineering and Wind Resource Utilization. He also holds positions as a Youth Member of the China Renewable Energy Society and a Council Member of the High-Rise Building Human Settlements Environment Committee of the Architectural Society of China.
In recent years, he has presided over one Youth Program and two General Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), one Key Support Program for Foreign Experts of the Ministry of Science and Technology, one General Program of the Chongqing Science and Technology Commission, and one General Program of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He has also led over 20 major engineering research projects. He has published more than 100 papers in the fields of wind disaster prevention and mitigation and wind energy utilization, including over 70 papers indexed in SCI and more than 10 indexed in EI. He holds 14 authorized invention patents, 7 software copyrights, and 13 utility model patents. He has co-authored three textbooks and contributed to the compilation of three provincial and ministerial-level standards.
