Pengkun Liu is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Chongqing University. He has been selected for the National Youth Talent Program and is recognized as a Hongshen Outstanding Scholar at Chongqing University.
He has participated in several major research initiatives, including sub-projects of the National Key Research and Development Program funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology. To date, he has published over 30 SCI-indexed journal papers and 16 international conference papers.
Education
He received his Bachelor's degree in 2017 and his Master's degree in 2020, both from the School of Civil Engineering at Chongqing University. In 2020, he proceeded to Carnegie Mellon University in the United States to pursue his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. Following his doctoral graduation in 2024, he held appointments at Carnegie Mellon University and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on the theories and methods of intelligent infrastructure construction, operation, and maintenance based on human-machine interaction.
