Li Ming, Vice General Manager of PowerChina Chengdu, and his group paid a technical exchange visit to the Chongqing University School of Civil Engineering on February 1, 2024. The conference was attended by a number of educators, including Professor Chen Bo, the head of the Disaster Prevention Institute, and Professor Yang Qingshan, the chair of the school.

Yang Qingshan cordially greeted the PowerChina Chengdu team to the conference and gave a summary of the school's operations as well as the advancement of the participating instructors' scientific research in a range of subjects. Li Ming gave a detailed explanation of the representative projects and future business growth goals of PowerChina Chengdu in the areas of infrastructure and urban building while expressing thanks for the school's kind reception. Li Ming conveyed his aspiration to capitalize on the benefits of higher education, combine resources, and encourage research collaboration between businesses and academic institutions. Yang Qingshan, the chair, indicated a desire to collaborate with PowerChina Chengdu in order to leverage the benefits of university-business collaboration, foster innovations in fundamental research technologies, and streamline the translation of research findings.
